FIRESIDE TALES AND POOLSIDE MEMOIRS > INTRO :

An exhibition about narrative with: Steven Eastwood, Rosamund Davies, Midori Mitamura, Clare Moloney, Saki Satom and Hana Vojackova.

While the narrator, in various guises, is our guide in this exhibition, storytelling is revealed as an unsettling process, in which those being guided through the tale are not always sure who is responsible for the direction it is taking. The agent of the narrative shifts between teller, translator, maker, events, passers-by and, perhaps most unsettlingly, the supposed recipient of the tale themselves.
